Rules
- A zigzag subdivides into 3 waves
- Waves A and C subdivide into a motive wave
- Wave A can only be an impulse or a leading diagonal
- Wave B can take on any corrective shape that does not retrace more than 100% of Wave A
Guidelines
- Waves A and C are often about the same size
- Wave C truncations (lower high than wave A) are extremely rare
- B-wave sideways patterns tend to retrace between 23%-50% of Wave A
- B-wave zigzag patterns tend to retrace between 50%-78% of Wave A
